About Us

CUPE 2620 / 2620A represents approximately 200 public workers in the Regional Municipality of Halton.

Our members are licensed Water and Wastewater Operators, Facilities Maintenance Operators, and Skilled Trades Maintenance professionals.
They are dedicated, highly trained individuals who work under strict Ontario regulations to ensure essential public services are delivered safely and effectively.

Our members are committed to providing communities with high-quality, safe drinking water and protecting the environment through effective wastewater treatment. They also maintain the buildings, plants, systems, and vehicles necessary to keep the residents of Halton healthy, safe, and supported every day.

Their work helps ensure that the people of Halton continue to enjoy reliable infrastructure, environmental protection, and the essential services that contribute to a strong and thriving community.
